Crafted travel is a brainchild of the owner of Charleston Black Cab Company, Toan Dao, and concierge Tatiana Fisher.  They visualized expanding the executive transportation company into a more inclusive Charleston vacation service.  After brainstorming, it was decided that “Crafted travel” would be the perfect name. It represents the idea of handcrafting amazing and unique vacations for all those seeking something off the beaten path in Charleston. The CRAFTED team then went about developing a travel service that will give you the opportunity to experience Charleston in a special and unique way—the hand CRAFTED way.

Transportation–Our local drivers are professional and always on time. Our fleet of vehicles can accommodate anything from intimate sedan rides for two to SUV’s or buses for groups.  Our sister company, the Charleston Black Cab Company, has a strong transportation fleet service, which ensures that everyone can easily get around to all of their destinations.

Brewery and Distillery tour–A step above the typical, our drivers will get you safely to each handpicked destination.  No need to worry about finding parking downtown, paying for parking and driving after partaking. Our drivers know the city and have a passion for the booming world of Charleston’s local breweries.

History tour–Al Ray has been giving tours of his hometown for 35 years and he looks forward to sharing it with you.  He is a font of historical knowledge and can tune into his guests to cater the tour to their personality! CRAFTED is so pleased to have him literally on board CBCC’s comfortable and air conditioned vehicles.  What a luxury it is to walk a few blocks of cobblestone street while learning about the area’s history and culture, and then turn the corner to find your driver waiting. Enjoy a cold beverage and a snack as your driver whisks you and your private guide to the next historical locale.  In the CRAFTED style, you can explore your historical interests along with an expert guide in an informational and fun blend of plantations, Patriots Point, war locales, ghosts and so much more.

Golf packages–We love the game of golf and Charleston is home to some of the best courses in the world.  CBCC can provide the transportation back and forth for any size party with plenty of space for all those big golf bags. CRAFTED has found a huge discount on transportation when we reserve your course fees.  You will hear the passion for golf when you call in, and in the CRAFTED style we will find the best courses for you and/or your party.

Adventure–Charleston has incredible outdoor activities. With the goal of creating a unique vacation for you and/or your family, CRAFTED can supplement your itinerary with adventures like kayaking, paddleboard lessons, swamp tours, chartered fishing in shore/deep sea, tubing river floats, skydiving, rope climbing, fly boarding, island camping, jet skiing, holy city scavenger hunt, and nature tours!  Customized Itineraries–The CRAFTED team has years of experience creating all-encompassing itineraries that include enjoying the most amazing restaurants that are not “typical” choices. Transportation, provided by CBCC to get you there in style and comfort. As much exploration and adventure as you want. The best places to drop a few dollars and support local artist and business’s and even the perfect places to lay your head after a day of exploration.  Give the Concierge's your goals and they will make a hand CRAFTED package you will never forget.
