Hydro Bikes

If we are going to brag that Charleston is in our Wheelhouse we should probably back that up with some great advise on what you should not miss out on this week!

Manatee KissRide a HydroBike - Wait what is this brilliant contraption?  Yes it is a bike that you can peddle around our very own Shem creek.  Worried about balance on a paddleboard?  Over the kayak thing?  Well here is the next option to see and be seen on Shem.  Peddle along with dolphins and manatees, visit a crab bank all while in complete control of where you are going and with the peace of mind of having a local guide to keep you out of the mud. So get out and take in all the natural beauty of this popular protected tidal creek on the only hydrobikes offered on the east coast.  Find out more about these bikes on the podcast Love Bent Adventure Bound tonight at 8:00 pm.

Edisto Tubing1Tube the Edisto - the boss man was turned on to this idea by a guest and we agree it is a perfect SC expereince.  Enjoy a lazy river afternoon with good friends and good times.  Forget about driving your car, shuttling vehicles, or the safety of your possessions. We will provide the tubes, drop you off at Givhans Ferry and meet you at Jellico’s Landing. Just bring your cooler of beverages and sunscreen and enjoy a perfect summer experience.

Shaggin1Shaggin on the Cooper - August 15th with live music featuring Vinyl Daze.  I’m not sure what says Charleston more than twisting your hips on the Mt. Pleasant Pier.  People of all ages can dance under the bridge and enjoy the sunset and sea breeze.

History Tour - We have to toot our own horn just a little bit. Charleston is a destination spot for history and we are the ones to give you a unique option to learn about it. Let us drive you through the places that we love to talk about, take short strolls through church yards and down streets with giant beautiful old homes. Al chats about everything from patriots to politics just let us know your interests.  A visit to Charleston really should have a visit to our amazing past.

Awendaw GreenAwendaw Green Barn Jamm- I love to promote local and this place is about as local as it gets! Always featuring an original music showcase year round every Wednesday.  Great food, byob and donation at the gate for live music all night.  This week features Ethan Jano, Threesound ,Shrimp City Slim ,V Tones, WrennPop. Let us drop you off and pick you back up for a safe and music filled night.

Ball Park Festival of Beers - Over 100 Brews, live music and a variety of food trucks roll into Riley Park this weekend. You must try my favorite food truck Low Country Creole. Spicy crawfish will go perfect with Abita draft or any of those frothy beer samples to try.  Beer will be coming from as far as Chicago and California and local favorites will represent.  The band Midnight City will end the night with music that ranges from all genres that everyone will be getting up and dancing too.

CBCC is offering 10% off for pre-reserved transportation for this event

The Junction Kitchen and Provisions- Sunday/Saturday brunch time! The city paper review got me excited to visit this new place and my experience was so great both times I have to jump on board the bandwagon. The locale showcases fun local art and just a touch of DIY Pinterest inspiration to keep it interesting. They have a fridge full of tomato pies and farm eggs to purchase and an interesting wall of wine selections. Our server had the perfect combination of professionalism, pride in the food and Punk.  As a firm believer in the promotion of Park Circle If my boyfriend’s super sticky wallet would allow it this would be our go to every Sunday.  Must try the Buzzed Doughnut, tomato pie and local mix blonde bloody mary.

We offer 10% off if you reserve any of CRAFTED tour options written in this weeks blog. Our Sister Company, Charleston Black Cab will also give 10% off on any transportation to these fun activities promo code-what to do in Charleston
